Conservation-led conversion of a Category B listed former hotel

As Lead Designer and Conservation Architect, I oversaw the conversion of the northern portion of the 18th-/19th-century Dower Hotel to residential use. Developed Heritage Statement, condition survey, repair strategy, and sensitive internal reconfiguration.

Conservation-led proposals retained principal external elevations and historic features, safeguarding the at-risk building within New Aberdour’s historic High Street while enabling sustainable modern use.
