Heritage assessment and conservation advice for a Category C listed house

Heritage Consultant for Clunie Bank, an early 19th-century T-plan house. Prepared a Heritage Statement for listed building consent for sensitive relocation and extension of a historic stone boundary dyke. The commission included historical research, assessment of architectural, social, and landscape significance, and conservation advice for external alterations.

The approach ensured preservation of classical detailing, spatial hierarchy, and historic setting within the Braemar Conservation Area while enabling contemporary residential use and improved garden functionality.
